“My little sunshine – she demands to come to work along with me every other day. When I tell her that I will be back soon with treats, she would still burst into tears! My wife would then spend first hour of her day trying to calm our only daughter. Some mornings, we think ahead and distract our daughter while I sneak out quickly. That saves some tears. Returning home is the best part of my day. The moment I walk in through the door and my daughter throws her arms around me with the same enthusiasm every evening. Her warm hug makes up for the entire day of hard work.
I moved to Dhaka 11 years ago with hopes and aspirations. Dhaka has been a difficult city to survive in. But after all these years as I look back, things eventually worked out for me. Happily married, blessed with a beautiful daughter and a stable work life.”
