“I started working in the quality control department at a garment factory four years ago. It was a good job but it could get quite hectic as well! The smallest mistakes would get you into a lot of trouble. However, it’s been a few months since I’ve quit my job there. I’ve been learning to drive for the last three months and I’m planning to move to the middle east to pursue my career as a driver there. I have high hopes!
I have been married for a year now. My wife worked in the same garment factory where I was employed. In fact, that’s where we first met. She’s still working there and she’s doing quite well, by God’s grace. I am making this move to the middle east in hope of a better life. However, it’s hard for me because I won’t be able to take my wife along with me. She will move back with my family in Barisal once I leave. We all have to make tough choices in life. This was one of those crossroads for me. I hope it works out for us.”
